Crossing Conspiracy 3 - The Discovery

Mayor's Diary, Day 35 - I stumbled upon a secret passage behind some bushes. I snuck inside, and went down a ladder to some weird underground basement. I peeked through the crack in the door and saw a shocking sight... my neighbor Fauna had her head off!

"You'd better hurry, we really don't need the mayor getting any more suspicious after he saw you unmasked."
"Sorry, this... mmf... suit is like a sauna." Ankha gripped her head, her voice much more timid than usual.
"It doesn't matter, you have to come back here if you overheat. If the mayor asks you anything, stay in character!"
"Mmf... o-okay!"
"Also, you reek. Have you been cleaning your suit? That's suspicious too, you know."
"Omigosh! I'm so sorry!"
"At this rate we'll need to find a new mayor. Don't you know how difficult it is?"

A new mayor? Are they going to get rid of me?
